How will I get to Andros?
The nearest airport is the Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos), that receives domestic and international flights all year round. The airport of Athens is only 30 min by bus from the port of Rafina, and the boat trip to Andros takes 2 hours. Alternatively one can also choose to fly to Myconos International Airport, in the island of Myconos. From the port of Myconos (5 minutes from the airport), the same ferry boat line serves Andros, which also takes 2 hours. Tickets are included in the camp's fees, so we will make sure that everyone is well informed on transportations needed. From Andros you can also visit the nearby Cycladic islands of Tinos, Myconos, Ios, Santorini, Kimolos, Naxos, Anafi, Amorgos etc. In addition, there are ferry connections from Andros to the islands of Crete, Rhodes, and all Dodecanese and East Aegean Islands. |
